The panhandle is still cleaning up from the hurricane, so Lizzy, Dad and Mom went back to help:
We didn’t have much to do at the first site so we went to the next:
The homeowner pitched right in:
We worked hard here and accomplished a lot!
One more site before we call it a day:

Today we drove about an hour to a beautiful park in Palatka, Florida called Ravine Gardens State Park to take family pictures:
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place!

Although Gainesville didn’t get hit by the storm we were called to help out in the panhandle where they had a direct hit. Lizzy, Dad and Mom headed out first thing in the morning:
We got to the staging place and mom braised Lizzy’s hair while dad checked us in:
Brother and Sister Anderson were also assigned to our worksite location. They worked a a great team!
More helpers came:
Lizzy had slight injury but wont give up that easily!

Today we celebrated Franklin Sr.’s Birthday! Dad made Franklin his favorite pineapple upside down cake:

Hurricane Helen is not likely to be hitting us, but we closed up all the shutters and are as ready as we can be:

On a last minute decision to go to the homecoming dance, Lizzy borrowed a dress from her best friend Yara and went went her entire friend group to the GHS Homecoming Dance:
