We went to a new (to us) u-cut Christmas tree farm:

We searched for the perfect tree.

All the trees on the lot were on the short side, but we will make it work.

We get to cut it down now:

Rachel has no problem caring it!

Time to shake out the bugs and old pine needles:

Because the tree was a little on the short side we put it up on a box:

Sprayed some “Snow” on the branches:

Time to decorate!

Of course we can’t forget candy canes!:

Can’t forget the good luck bird and nest!

Decorations everywhere!

Later we even out up a small tree on the back porch!
We are definitely in the Christmas cheer!

We went to the annual Turkey Trot run/walk put on by the Tanner Family in the morning and worked up an awesome appetite for the Thanksgiving meal! Lizzy pitched in to help with set up and Rachel helped Dad with the cooking and baking:

The Tanners brought over a fun game:

We all had a very Happy Thanksgiving!

For Family Home Evening we decided to all learn how to ride the city bus:

Mom, Dad, and Lizzy went out to Brother Castillo’s brother’s house and he took us inside some caves on the property.

We kayaked into the caves and then waded though water inside as we explored several caves:

We didn’t run into any alligators this time but there are some on the property!

That was so much fun!
