Time to decorate our tree!

It was mostly a three person job at this point:

As tradition would have it, Dad passed out the bulbs with hooks on them to be put on the tree:

Mom got the candy canes for the tree (another tradition):

Sampling the candy canes:

Mom decorated outside:

Christmas Tree!

11/29/24

We drove an hour to Anthony, Florida back to The Kandy Kane Christmas Tree Farm we have gone to for the past couple of years:

On the lookout for the best tree:

After looking at every tree on the farm we decided on this one:

Dad did the honors of cutting it down:

Rachel carried it to the car:

She is strong, but it is actually not very heavy.

Later we went to the movies to see “Wicked”:

Mom absolutely loved this movie!

We then went home and sprayed the tree with fake snow (another tradition):

Now that was an awesome family fun day!

And decorated the room:

Rachel added some mints to the table after helping Dad in the kitchen with the food:

Our guests arrived! We had the Tanner family and the Araque family:

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Time for desserts:

Lizzy took the dessert orders:

Luna was filled up on turkey!

We had an arm wrestling competition:

Rachel won this one:

How to Change The Oil

11/14/24

Today Rachel and Dad changed out the headlight in our car:

The old one was filmed over and the light was dim. The dealership (before we bought it) had only replaced one of the headlights to a new one so we wanted to have it matching and be able to see better at night.

It took a while and the sun was starting to set, but we got it done.

The Florida Aquarium

11/11/24

Today we visited the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida:

Rachel brought her friend, also named Rachel:

We got to touch non-stinging jelly fish:

The ducks outside were so cute:

Not sure what type of bird this is but I think his name is “Stan”:

Back inside to the actual aquarium:

We petted the stingray!:

This fish is awesome!

Wow!:

Beautiful:

Although it’s a small facility, the exhibits were very nice and we had a wonderful time at the Florida Aquarium!

Lizzy was busy tonight and couldn’t join us, but Rachel, Dad and Mom went to a UF gymnastics meet and this random guy approached us outside and said he had seats in the good section and offered them to us. We sat with him and enjoyed the good seats!

Thanks Random Guy!

Happy Halloween

10/30/24

We decided to have a “Good Samaritan” trunk for Trunk-n-Treat at church:

We had a chili cook-off before the trunk-n-treating.

Time for Trunk-N-Treat!:

The Davis’s
Landon Driaza!

Mom handed out the band-aides and had the kids go help the injured person (Lizzy) by putting a band-aide on her:

Lizzy was the one in need:

Dad was the one to guide them to the injured one needing help:

Rachel was the Inn Keeper with the candy:

Lizzy had A LOT of band-aides stuck to her at the end of the trunk-n-treating from all the “Good Samaritans”.
