2020 Vacation Day Two Adventure: Rock Creek Falls and Benton Falls, Cherokee National Forest.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready for the first hike of the day to Rock Creek Falls.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We will stick with the 1.7 mile trail.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Easy trail and not too hot yet.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The creek was along the trail at various points.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Our first creek crossing! Luna is not so sure about this because she is not a big fan of water\u00a0\"\ud83d\ude1f\".<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

No problem. We didn’t even have to take off our shoes and no one got wet!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We climbed down to explore.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We really enjoyed exploring here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Conquered some climbing fears.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Luna kept a watchful eye on them.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There was a smaller waterfall down below.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We had a bit of a hike so we decided to eat lunch, rest up, and drive to our next hike.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Along the way we stopped at an overlook on a (small) mountain. The girls were so excited to have cell service!!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Beautiful view.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ready for hike #2 of the day.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Off to Benton Falls.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A 1.5 mile easy hike brought us here!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A great place to explore.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
