Road trip!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following another tradition Mom got us window clings!:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year Mom found some with lights. Lizzy was sure having a good time:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Rachel managed hers quite well:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

12\/20\/24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom also got us some surprises for the next driving day:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These little drink bottles are so good!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Nap time!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Snowing in Pennsylvania:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year we decided to go through Ohio and stop at the Kirkland, Ohio Temple!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The visitors center had a nativity display!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We also went on a tour in the Kirkland Temple:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we were inside it snowed! Of course we had a snowball fight!:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The snow was sticking!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

12\/21\/24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got to NY and stopped at The Eternal Flame Trail for a little hike!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was cold<\/strong> and there was a snow covered ground!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Our first winter wonderland hike:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A small waterfall:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We hiked next to the river and we even had to cross it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The main waterfall was ahead but it was not easy to get to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sullivan and Lizzy set off to see if there was a way to get closer:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They had to cross the stream again.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mom and Rachel decided to watch from a distance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The flame was no longer lit and to relight it you would have to swim in the frigid water. So that was a no:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t fall!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was a bit treacherous:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They made it back and we headed back up the trail:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There was a lot of snowball fighting going on the entire hike!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy got one to the head:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Rachel used stick swords to fend off the snowball attacks:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Man down!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Watch out Rachel!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

That was the longest snowball fight ever! Great hike too (although the flame was out it was still pretty cool):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Our next stop…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was incredibly cold<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever been this cold?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

That was a short stop because it truly was too cold!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom gave us another treat in the car:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
