Beck Family Vacation: Italy! Day two in the Alps\/Dolomites\/Badia, Italy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we drove 10 minutes to a bakery. This area is highly German influenced so we got apple strudel and some German pretzels (and some other treats for later). We drove just a couple of minutes to our hiking location. The views were amazing right from the parking lot! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sat on a bench and enjoyed our breakfast strudel<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Ready to hike:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Along the trail<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The trail signs were nice to have but the trail was really very easy to follow:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were quite a few snails along the trail<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’ll call him ‘Scooter’:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were statues and other interesting things along the trail:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Of course beautiful views!<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relaxing by a pond:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom gave us her phone:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We are going to that waterfall<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

So pretty!<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It really was an easy hike and a beautiful day<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were several of these cabins along the way<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’re definitely enjoying this hike<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made it to the first waterfall<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We enjoyed our German pretzels at a beautiful picnic area down from the waterfall. We relaxed here for awhile and enjoyed the rest and the views<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We really relaxed!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Time to head back the rain is coming<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We saw a pent up herd of sheep, goats, and a donkey<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The water is the clearest stream water we’ve ever seen:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It rained a tiny bit but it didn’t really stop us<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We were having a good time obviously!<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The clouds were clearing<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were pretty flowers along the way<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
