Although Gainesville, Florida didn’t get hit by the hurricane the big bend area got a direct hit.<\/strong> The Gainesville Florida Stake were assigned to go help out in Steinhatchee, Florida<\/strong>. Mom, Dad, and Lizzy headed out to serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was early in the morning and Lizzy was ready to go!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We stopped at the meeting place to pick up our assignments:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brother Rae is the lead person on our team.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We went to our first assignment and started right in to work:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The ocean water had flooded carrying fish a mile!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Where did that shoe bottom come from Dad?<\/strong><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The bottom of Dad’s boot fell off!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We finished the first job and headed to the next:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The missionaries joined us at the next location.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dad is teaching Lizzy how to safely use a chainsaw!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy found a snake!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No fears!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The end of the day and still smiling<\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Yes, we were tired too!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

09\/03\/23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to church for just the sacrament and then headed right out to the big bend area for more clean-up:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second house was much more challenging:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dad climbed up on the fallen tree!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Working hard!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Dad wore sneakers today and they broke too! Mom got some duct tape to keep them together.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Location number three:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still smiling a ready to work!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A quick rest break for the missionaries.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Back to work and getting a bit tired.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy’s getting in some more practice on the chainsaw.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tired but glad we were able to help!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy is a beast and worked hard all day<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
