Later we pulled off a bit of a surprise party for mom!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We even invited mom’s best friend Keri Trosper and her family
without mom finding out!:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We opened some cards and gifts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel’s card was beautiful!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy’s card was packed full of loving messages!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dad’s was sweet too.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mom loves her temple calendars each year.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dad got mom some dark chocolates she hadn’t tried before:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy and Rachel got mom a dehydrated desert for their upcoming Appalachian Trail adventure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is another hiking book for mom. This one is about the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail).<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What an awesome birthday! The only thing that could have possibly made it better would be hiking on the AT
(Appalachian Trail).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
