We went to a new (to us) u-cut Christmas tree farm:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We searched for the perfect tree. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"
Nice, but not quite right.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

All the trees on the lot were on the short side, but we will make it work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"
We decided on this one.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We get to cut it down now:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s harder than you would think…<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Rachel tried too…<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Rachel has no problem caring it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a bit of a walk to the car. I guess we could have driven closer to the tree we picked!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Time to shake out the bugs and old pine needles:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the tree was a little on the short side we put it up on a box:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sprayed some “Snow” on the branches:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Time to decorate!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course we can’t forget candy canes!:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy’s nativity she got from Sister Hawkins when she was in Primary.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Later we even out up a small tree on the back porch!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
