We got as prepared as we could be for hurricane Ian. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We closed the shutters on the front of the house.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And we closed the shutters on the back of the house and much of the yard stuff into the shed.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dad and Rachel made homemade eclairs! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a very complicated recipe that they have been working on throughout the day<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a long process!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They were absolutely delicious!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For dinner Lizzy and Mom went head to head in a “Chopped” (like the TV show) competition. The Ingredients picked out by Sullivan and Rachel were: Panko bread crumbs, egg, green beans and malanga blanca (a root vegetable). Rachel and Dad were their sous chefs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
