Dad got us pumpkins and we decided to paint them instead of carving them this year. Carved pumpkins do not last long in the Florida heat!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel and Mom painted this Twilight (books\/movies) inspired pumpkin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happy Halloween!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to a couple of places for trick-or-treating that did social distancing. The neighbor at the end of the street put a bowl out at the end of her driveway:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This house (two streets over) advertised online that they had a pully system where they sent the candy down to you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked up to the drop-off zone<\/strong>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It worked!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Then we went home to watch a scary movie, “Alien”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was definitely different having Halloween during a pandemic, but we still had fun. Mom also bought some extra candy for us; thanks mom!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
