July 20th – July 24th, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Lizzy go to go to a quick overnight girls camp last year, this was our first big Girls Camp experience. Mom is serving as our Ward Camp Director (as well as counselor in the YW Presidency) so she went too. And, Patricia came to camp too!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom was one of the leaders in Rachel’s cabin. The girls and one of the leaders slept in these bunks on one side of the cabin:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom slept on the other side where it was a little tiny bit quieter so she could go to sleep way before we did!:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"
Mom also got up early every morning and went for a run. <\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

After we all got settled in we went to the lake to have our first fireside:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sun was setting which made it even nice<\/strong>r.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We sang some camp songs<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The schedule was packed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Each cabin made up their own song that we sang for everyone:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabin “France” was Rachels’ cabin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The girls got to go swimming, kayaking, and tubing behind a boat! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was so much fun! Especially tubing!!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were some beautiful sunsets by the lake!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mornings at the flag were fun, especially if you won the golden plunger and the mobile commode (this was the prize for having the cleanest cabin)!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good job France, Rachel’s cabin!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>More kayaking and swimming:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They also had a fun competition to make a fashion outfit using only items they found in their cabins. Each cabin was decorated to go with a different country (the different countries to go with the Olympics).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

France had a Rock-N-Roll Theme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cabin made use of the winning commode!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We also did some skits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And we had our own Olympic games!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
How many cookies came you get to your mouth from your forehead without touching it with your hands?<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Rachel was the champion!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Limbo Lizzy!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy went on a hike and a bear ran off with the Gato<\/strong>rade cooler!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They all made it back alive!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lizzy’s Cabin performed their song:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
